Penstemon 'Blackbeard'

Fabulous dark maroon (almost black) foliage adds three season garden interest. In May, clusters of lavender, tubular flowers bloom are followed by clusters of small burgundy seed pods. It is a tough, easy to grow perennial for sunny beds and borders.
