How We Grow

Each year, preparations for the spring growing season at Rhodes Greenhouses begin in February. With decades of experience and a deep understanding of Northern New York growing conditions, our team carefully sows and propagates a wide variety of bedding plants in our propagation greenhouse.

As the plants develop, they are moved into our 12 heated greenhouses, where conditions are closely managed to promote strong, healthy growth. As temperatures rise, many are then transitioned into additional greenhouses and outdoor growing tables, allowing them to naturally strengthen in fresh air and sunlight.

This proven growing process—combined with the trusted expertise of Rhodes Greenhouses—ensures that every plant you bring home is well-established and ready to thrive.
