Policy, Guidelines & Visiting Information

Rhodes Greenhouses and Memorial Gardens welcome guests who wish to take personal photographs within our greenhouse, outdoor growing areas, and memorial garden spaces. Together, these areas offer a naturally beautiful setting of seasonal plants, curated displays, and peaceful landscaped memorial spaces throughout the year.

To ensure a respectful and safe environment for all visitors, staff, and memorial guests, we ask that all photography follows the guidelines below.

Greenhouse & Memorial Gardens Guidelines

To preserve the integrity of both spaces, we ask all guests to follow these guidelines:

  • Do not move, damage, or alter plants, memorials, or displays
  • Stay within designated public access areas
  • Respect memorial spaces and visiting guests
  • Avoid entering growing, production, or restricted zones
  • Follow all staff direction when present
  • Tripods or equipment are allowed only for approved commercial sessions

Both areas are active, cared-for environments and should be treated with respect and care.

Personal Photography

Personal photography is welcome during normal business hours in both the greenhouse and memorial gardens. This includes:

  • Casual photos with plants, flowers, and seasonal displays
  • Family, engagement, and lifestyle photography
  • Social media content (non-commercial use)
  • Photos of memorial spaces or personal remembrance visits

Guests are asked to remain respectful of others using the space and avoid blocking walkways, seating areas, or active work zones.

Commercial Photography

Commercial, professional, or organized photo sessions require advance approval from Rhodes Greenhouses.

This includes:

  • Professional photography and portrait sessions
  • Brand, influencer, or content creation shoots
  • Wedding or engagement photography setups
  • Marketing or promotional shoots

Please contact us prior to your visit to request permission, availability, and scheduling details for both greenhouse and memorial garden areas.

Requesting a Photo Session

For commercial or scheduled photography sessions, please contact Rhodes Greenhouses in advance with:

  • Type of shoot
  • Intended use of images
  • Preferred date and time
  • Group size and equipment details
  • Location request (Greenhouse, Memorial Gardens, or both)

Our team will review all requests and confirm availability based on season, activity level, and space use.
