Grass-Sporobolus heterolepis

A native prairie grass with fine textured green foliage that forms a mound by summer. Blades turn golden yellow in fall and add winter garden interest. Flowers are pink and tan and the light scent of coriander. Easily tolerates harsh, dry sites.
